This is an overview of the different types of documents you can create

Create documents to standardize your most common procedures, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides. You can add files, images, and even videos to give your workers additional context when viewing a document.

Use documents for several use cases such as:

  1. Maintaining ISO Compliance

  2. Creating and distributing standard operating procedures (work instructions)

  3. Creating troubleshooting guides for common issues

There are 3 distinct types of documents that can be created on WorkClout.

Work Instruction - Provides a specific set of instructions, commonly in a step-by-step fashion, so that the person referencing the work instruction can carry out the activity.

Troubleshooting Guide - Provide a set of instructions on a common failed process or issue to a piece of equipment so that the person referencing the troubleshooting guide can carry out the process of resolving the issue.

General Document - Any other types of documents that you might want to add as helping aid underneath a resource or company. Some examples could be the company's quality management guidelines, general worker safety tips or equipment manuals.

Lastly, documentation on WorkClout allows for a change approval process. This allows the document approver to receive and review any document updates before they are made available to the rest of the organization. Using this process allows your workers to contribute to improving documents while still maintaining an effective change process.
