Below is an description of each field on the document form

Document Type - Learn about the different types of documents you can create here

Document Approver - The person responsible for reviewing and approving changes that are made to a document. This person will receive a notification on their dashboard to approve or deny the changes whenever an edit is made. Changes made by the document approver to their documents are automatically approved.

Tags - A simple way to categorize the documents the way that you'd like. You can create new tags or use existing ones.

Add document to.. - Add a documents add to resources or model numbers will be easily categorized under the resource page for easy access.

Language - Distinguish the language that this document is written in. Documents can contain multiple language and will default to the company default language. Users can set a preferred language in their profile.

Document title - Add a document title that is clear, this is the first thing users will see.

Document description - Add a more descriptive purpose and reason for the document.

Step title - Add the title of a step to summarize the purpose or action of the step.

Step description - Add a description of the activity that is being performed on the step. 

Tip: Use bullet points to make it clear

Files - Upload additional files such as PDFs, CAD files, word docs, and much more to give your workers additional context about the step.

Media - Use images and videos as a helping visual aid to explain the step of the document. You can even add captions and rearrange the media as needed!
