Many organizations operate production with multiple shifts and/or shared stations for employees to access information and complete inspections. WorkClout has adapted our mobile and tablet application to support this with Sharing Mode.

In this article, we'll review how to enable sharing mode for your device.

Using Sharing Mode on the WorkClout App

Step 1 - Log in to the WorkClout Application as an Admin

Sharing mode can only be enabled and disabled by users with Admin permissions. As an admin enter your information into the WorkClout app login screen.

Required information:

  • Email

  • Password

Step 2 - Go to the Menu and Enable Sharing Mode

Navigate to the menu page on the mobile application by clicking the Menu Icon.

Next, click on the toggle to enable sharing mode. A confirmation window will display to let you know that the device will now log you out when the session is completed.

Step 3 - Complete Your Session

There are three instances where you will be logged out of your session

  1. Device is locked

  2. Device goes to sleep

  3. App is running the background of the device

When you are logged out of your session, your profile will still remain on the shared login screen. Here you can easily tap into your profile and log back into WorkClout using your PIN or password.

To log in as another user, simply click on the "New Login" Button.

A few other notes

  • Only admins are able to disable sharing mode upon logging into their accounts

  • Sharing mode disables WorkClout push-notifications for the device. You can view your new notifications upon logging into your account.
