WorkClout offers three separate opportunities to add an e-signature into a WorkClout Task. We will review all three signature fields as each of them provide a unique use case and workflow.
Request Sign Off
The most commonly used signature workflow is to request sign-off on a specific task after the task has been CLOSED.
In-Form Signature Field
The newest signature field is one that is built into a specific form template. The most common use case for this type of signature field is when you need the signature prior to the task getting closed or if you need specifically the individual completing the task to sign-off on a particular section. Similarly, because you can add as many signature fields as you want in a Form Template, this feature is also useful for when collecting multiple signatures during a task.
Assign Signature
The last option for a signature field is specifically when the signee varies. The most common use case is if the signee of a task is not pre-defined prior to or during a task. If you need to assign a signee after the task is completed, you can use the Signature Sign Off toggle in a Form Template.
