Creating an Issue

When a non-conformity or safety issue is detected on the operational floor, it's important to immediately assess the situation and apply corrective action in a timely manner. What more, taking preventive action to prevent the issue from happening again can potentially save hundreds and thousands of dollars in cost for your operations.

This is the value of issue tracking on WorkClout. With Issues, your employees can create issues in as little as two clicks, provide additional context, and collaborate with team members to implement preventive action.

In this article, we'll review how to create an issue on the WorkClout app

Creating an Issue on the WorkClout App

Step 1 - Click on the ( + ) button located at the bottom right of the WorkClout app.

This will open up a number of quick actions you can take within the app.

Step 2  - Click on the scan QR code button to quickly access the asset that you want to create the issue for. Click on the 'Create an Issue' button.

*There are a few alternative ways you can create an issue

  1. From the quick actions menu, you can click on the 'Create an Issue' button. This will require you to manually select where the issue is happening.

  2. You can perform a quick search in the app for the asset and simply click on the 'Create Issue' button from the asset page.

Step 3 - Select the type of issue that you're encountering from the list of options and then tap on 'Create Issue' on the top right of the app.

The list of default options you can select from are:

  • Safety

  • Quality

  • Injury

  • Broken Machine

  • Need Information

  • Blocked

  • Other

Step 4 - Your issue is now created! 

Your team members who have skills for the asset will now be notified that the new issue has been reported. From here, you have the option of adding more details to the issue. Some details you can add are:

  • Assign issue priority

  • Additional issue tags

  • Update the issue title

  • Issue description

  • Upload relevant images or videos
